Daily Airspace Bulletin Switzerland (DABS )

The DABS is an official Swiss aeronautical publication and provides, at the time of retrieval, the current airspace status, in accordance with the NOTAM publications.

  • The DABS, provided with date and time-stamp, is available from 1300 LT on the preceding day, at the latest, and is updated in accordance with the NOTAM publications
  • Scale: 1:1 250 000 in A4 format
  • Content: all NOTAM publications regarding dangers, limitations and airspace changes within Swiss territory, including activations of TEMPO TMAs and CTRs (Firings: Above 250m/AGL)
  • Validity: the last updated version for the day according to the date and time noted on the chart
  • The DABS is published by skyguide AIM Services

Please note: Early cancellations do not always lead to a new DABS release (reduction of danger or cancellations of airspace restrictions). For latest information, contact our Flight Information Service (FIS) or the KOSIF (Coordination Office for Firing and Safety of Air Navigation) at +41 44 813 31 10.

Not published in the DABS are airport information, NOTAM regarding procedure changes, information regarding obstacles and navigation aids, etc., as well as airspaces as published in the AIP (including HX airspaces) and R-Areas with special rules for gliders.

NOTAMs affecting the whole Swiss territory or several parts thereof, such as MIL night flights, are on the text side of the DABS only. For detailed information always refer to the original NOTAM.

Navigation warning by NOTAM

In accordance with ICAO regulations, all navigation warnings will also be promulgated by NOTAM. This allows a complete briefing regarding dangers, limitations and changes in Swiss airspace either by DABS or by NOTAM collection (AMIE selfbriefing or homebriefing).
