Virtual Centre Tranche 2 Closure: Technology Review 2015 – 2022

Welcome to this special edition of Blueprint, celebrating the closure of the second tranche of our Virtual Centre programme.

The Virtual Centre Tranche 2 has played a very large part in this last technological change for Skyguide. This shows that Swiss ATM is at the forefront of the implementation of the most modern technological changes within ATM: we can show to the ATM world that some of our safety-critical operations are already based on a layered, service oriented infrastructure.

As you will read in this special edition of Blueprint, we celebrate the achievement of laying the technical foundation enabling location-independent services. Skyguide is very proud to be a global leader in implementing the next generation of such change.
