Air Traffic Controller

Marianne Alb

Marianne grew up next to Emmen Airport and was fascinated by the operations there. She is now working as an ATCO in Buochs (since 2007), Alpnach (since 2006) and since 2015 she is the Head Unit of Buochs.

Monika Baumgarten

Monika is the Head of Cultural Transformation and Corporate Culture is her responsibility since May 2021. She works on this topic with passion with a great matrix team.

Head of I&D and Transition Manager

Cate Bichara

Cate has an ATCO licence and has been working for Skyguide since 2005 in various roles. Today, she is a transition manager where she is looking at the changes that new technologies are bringing to the skills and competencies required in Air Traffic Management. In addition, she is also responsible for the Inclusion & Diversity initiative.

Trainee in Compliance

Anastasia Ebbinghaus

Anastasia is a trainee in Compliance and a a recent graduate of a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development & Energy Management. She started at Skyguide in September 2021 and have since been working to help implement the new Compliance Management System among other compliance related tasks

Cristina Feistmann

Cristina studied law at the University of Zurich and is an attorney at law. She has been a member of the Skyguide Board of Directors since 2015. In addition, she is also Company Secretary at SwissRe and a member of the Board of Trustees of Swissair Children’s Aid.

Flight data engineer

Chrystelle Garnero

With more than 15 years of experience in telecom and air traffic controlling area, Chrystelle is an engineer dealing now with Flight data systems. She joined Skyguide in 2016 and is currently in charge of writing requirements for a new Flight Data Processing system, configuring it and testing it.

Laura Hopper

Laura joined Skyguide in May 2021 as Virtual Centre touchdown Programme Director. She has lived and worked in several other countries gaining cross-cultural perspectives.

Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer, EB member

Myriam Käser

Myriam started as a junior consultant in public affairs and strategic communications, became a consultant later on and eventually a senior consultant and member of the Executive Board of a Zurich-based consulting agency. She then moved on to become the CCO of NZZ Media Group before she took on the same role at Skyguide four years ago.

Air Traffic Controller

Nadja Keist

Working in aviation has always been her childhood dream. In 2018, she started training to become an air traffic controller and received her license for Bern TWR/APP in 2020. Since then, she have spent most of her free time at the airport getting her private pilot’s license.

Marita Lintener

Having worked more than 30 years in the aviation industry, she joined Skyguide in early 2021 as Head of International Affairs. As part of her pro bono activities, she currently serves as a member of the board of the International Aviation Women’s Association (IAWA) as VP Europe & Africa and was honoured by the EC Commissioner for Transport as “EU Diversity Ambassador” in 2019.
