Closing Remarks from Our CEO

At this year’s Skyguide Business Day, our CEO reflected on his journey through seven editions of the event, highlighting both continuity and change over the years. While safe operations have always remained at the core, progress on our financial framework and business model has become increasingly concrete.

He emphasised how valuable the Business Day has been as a platform for broad and meaningful conversations with a diverse audience – from government departments, regulators, the Swiss Air Force, airports, and suppliers, to our own colleagues. These exchanges have been instrumental in shaping Skyguide’s path forward.

Most importantly, he expressed his deep gratitude to everyone who has contributed – colleagues across the company, our Board of Directors, and especially his Executive Board team, with whom he navigated even the most challenging times, such as the COVID crisis. Looking back, he is proud and thankful for what has been achieved together and confident in handing over leadership to his successor, knowing that Skyguide is in excellent hands with outstanding people.
