Skyguide at the World ATM Congress 2018<br><br> The 6th edition of the World ATM Congress takes place from 6 to 8 March 2018 at Feria de Madrid (IFEMA) in Spain. It is the world’s largest international air traffic management exhibition and conference attracting over 7,500 visitors each year.
The 2018 Conference programme will be themed under the title “Rapidly changing skies – around the world” and skyguide CEO Alex Bristol will be part of the panel discussion to share his thoughts about the growth and challenges of autonomous operations in ATM.
Drones will be an integral part of our presence in the WATM Congress as highlighted by our partnership with AirMap for the development and deployment of the Swiss U-space. As announced today, Switzerland will be the first country in Europe to deploy a national drone traffic management system in Europe.
Furthermore skyguide’s innovative Pre-Flight Checker Drone, the world’s first drone for CNS maintenance which reduces maintenance costs and CO2-emmisssions, will be displayed on our booth. Finally, the recently implemented software ARSI (Advanced Runway Safety Improvement) will be promoted at the Indra-exhibition stand.
